This song is from the musical Grease, starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John; one of the best films of 1978. �You�re The One That I Want� was a huge international hit, reaching no. 1 in several countries.

I had just started high school when Grease was released and I don�t think there was a teenage girl I knew that didn�t go ga-ga over John Travolta, or a teenage boy whose jaw didn�t drop when Olivia Newton-John showed up in her skin-tight black spandex, high heels and teased-out hair to perform this song with Travolta.

So many years have gone by since this movie hit the theatres, but I still enjoy listening to it occasionally.
