Animal Kindness

So you drive a fancy car and own expensive jewelry and live in a big house and wear the latest fashions and have a fat bank account and you�re the bigwig at work...

Whoop�de�do...

But what is the worth of your character? How compassionate are you? Particularly with animals. Do you treat them humanely? With respect? Kindness?

Anyone who knows me well enough knows that my love and sensitivity for animals is monumental, and that nothing will tell me more about you as a human being than the way you treat them. All living beings have just as much right to be here as you and I, and if you don�t like animals, at least don�t hurt them.

With so much animal cruelty around the world, I find my faith in humanity shattered repeatedly, and question how an intelligent species such as ours can behave so barbarically. So I often find myself searching for uplifting stories that remind me that there are really good people out there doing really good things. For the more vulnerable.
