Chuckles and Chortles

Happy Monday, blogging friends! Was it a nice weekend for you? I certainly hope so. We spent most of it biking (no surprises there, right?) and exploring and snapping a gazillion photos. And yesterday we were restless once again, so we decided to visit another area. Ill let you guess where we went. (It might be easier for my Canadian friends to figure it out.)

Heres a hint:

This bridge was constructed by the Canadian Pacific Railway between 1898 and 1900,
and runs across a river between two cities in two different provinces.

Not sure yet? Heres another hint:

I just discovered recently that one of my cameras takes self-portraits, so we decided to try it out.

Behind us is the iconic building that is home to Canada's Senate, House of Commons and Library of Parliament.

Did you guess where we went?

Yesiree, we threw our bikes into the car and headed over to Ottawa, our nations capital, and the fourth largest city in this amazing country. We spent the entire day touring the area (you can cover a lot of ground on bikes), and I was reminded once again just how beautiful this city is. And unbelievably bike-friendly, too. Ill share photos in the future.

But right now at this very moment, its time to laugh...

A spectacular day to all!
