Chuckles and Chortles

Happy Monday, everyone. I hope the long weekend has been good to you so far. Ours has been a mixture. Friday morning we drove to our hometown to attend my uncle�s funeral (my mother's sister's husband). He was 86, so he had a nice long life, but we�ll miss him. And it'll be tough for my aunt. They were married for over 50 years, and it�s heartbreaking when one partner is left behind. We paid our respects, visited with family from Montreal, and with family that had come up from the U.S., and drove home in the evening. It was a very long day.

But despite the exhausting day on Friday, we were restless Saturday morning, and decided to go another road trip. We tossed a few ideas around and settled on Ottawa again. There is so much to see and do, and one trip there is just not enough. We spent the entire day touring the city on our bikes (27 kilometers/16 miles worth) and returned home late at night.

After a couple of really busy days, we decided to kick back yesterday and relax. And what�s up for today? *shrug* Whatever will be will be.

What I do know is that it�s time for some humour...
