Aaaaaaaaand were back! How was your weekend, everyone? I hope it was good to you. Yesterday I woke up to snow. Not much. And it melted rather quickly. But its a sign of things to come. Brace yourselves...winter is on its way.
But the highlight of the day was a little mouse that my daughter found on her bed, of all places. And so the games began! We closed the door to her room to keep it in one area, and also to keep the cats out. Because the little stinker would have zero chance of surviving if they got a whiff of it. Yes, you heard right: surviving. There was no way I could kill it, so we trapped it and set it free outside. It took awhile and it was quite a fiasco; the little bugger sure could move quickly, and squeeze through the smallest openings. But you should have seen it; cute as a button with the biggest eyes ever on something so small. I imagine it was relieved to be alive after we released it. Although not too happy about being tossed out into the cold. Oh well...
Anyhow, lets get the new week going with some humour, shall we?
Wishing you all a beautiful day!
